Kiss the Future 2024
— at a glance
The first AI Summit in September 2024 unfolded across some of Sarajevo’s most iconic venues, immersing attendees in discussions on AI’s rapid evolution and its impact on society.
Main-stage discussions took place at the historic National Theatre, while Amazon Web Services led workshops in its Banquet Hall. Europe House hosted insights from Blum Institute partners on AI in marketing, sales, and visual storytelling and launched the first Prompting Academy to enhance AI-driven creativity.
This multi-venue format enriched the experience for over 800 participants.
AI as a top agenda
The Kiss the Future AI Summit firmly established AI as a prominent topic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating a powerful ripple effect across the country's media and public conversations.
Since the Summit, AI has featured in over 20 TV programs , including broadcasts on national television and coverage by the most widely trusted news platforms in the region.
AI has also emerged as a primary theme in subsequent events, fueling discussions and awareness that reach both the tech industry and the broader public. This event ensured that AI remains a central focus as Bosnia and Herzegovina considers its technological and economic future.

As part of the Summit, specialized workshops for marketing and sales departments will be held at the EU House in Sarajevo. These workshops will be led by top experts in each field and are designed to help companies understand and apply AI technologies in various aspects of their business.
AI in Videography and Photography
This workshop covers the application of AI technologies in video and photo production, including automated content processing with AI tools for editing and quality enhancement, generating visually appealing content without expensive equipment, and audience analysis through AI in order to understand behavior and tailor content to their interests.
The workshop will be led by Arnej Misirlić, an expert with decades of experience in photo and video production, and the director of the Komitet production company from Sarajevo.

AI in Marketing
This workshop focuses on using AI technologies to enhance marketing strategies. Participants will learn how to personalize marketing campaigns using AI algorithms to analyze customer data and tailor messages, optimize budgets with AI tools for predicting campaign performance and allocating resources efficiently, and analyze competition by implementing AI tools to monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies in real time.

This workshop focuses on applying AI technologies in e-commerce to enhance user experience and boost sales. About speaker ⎯ Jens Dommel is an Entrepreneur, sales expert and marketing strategist assuming diverse management positions in IT enterprises and specializing in the healthcare industry. As the head of EMEA healthcare he creates strategies and process for entering new markets and creating successful new organisation, structures and processes in the healthcare industry. He works with both Public and Private healthcare customers and partners to manage their transition and journey to the AWS cloud. He graduated from Technische Universität Berlin as an engineer in information systems and mechanical engineering. Jens is formerly from CompuGroup Medical SE where he was appointed as the General Manager R&D Health Connectivity Services. Therefor he build up as vertical Lead the Microsoft healthcare division in Germany and was Head of Business Development in Western Europe for the Microsoft Health Solutions Group, before moving to Amazon Web Services.
